PRODUCT FEATURES
High density calcium silicate board is a strong, machinable, asbestos-free and inorganic calcium silicate board insulation material used to transport, contain, process and form molten aluminum and other non-ferrous metals. They are ideal materials for conveying and controlling the flow of aluminum. Designed to extend equipment life and improve processing characteristics. High heat treatment removes excess water and minimizes the shrinkage that usually occurs during use. These unique sheets have many outstanding advantages. Even if the metals cool and solidify, they don't stick to them, so they can be removed easily. They do not require foundry surface cleaning and therefore do not cause metal contamination. The conveying heat loss of molten metal is less, so it maintains a more uniform temperature, so it can be processed at lower temperatures. Because of their low heat capacity, they do not need to be preheated. They are crack - and earthquake-resistant, have a long service life and are cost-effective. Divided into glass fiber reinforced (N-14) and carbon fiber reinforced (N-17).
